This week found Clatto at the launch party for the fall season of the historic Montalbán theater in Los Angeles. Known for its eclectic and multicultural mix of programming – which includes this month’s futuristic production Proxima, featuring Japanese visual dance troupe Enra, and November book reading by Tool/Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan – the Montalbán has got something for everyone.
Even horror hounds.
In addition to its live performances, the Montalbán hosts rooftop screenings of new and classic films above the streets of Hollywood and under the stars. Comfy deck chairs and wireless headphones are provided. There’s a wide variety of food and snack options and libations for added courage during October showings (Yay! Halloween!) of American Psycho, Jurassic Park, Scream, Carrie, Beetlejuice, Psycho, and more.
