Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween) has been tapped to star in Get the Girl, an abduction indie from Contracted and Madison County writer and director Eric England. Set to roll camera this fall in Los Angeles, the film tells the tale of a rich kid conned into staging a kidnapping that goes terribly wrong.
Compton has starred in a number of notable frighteners, including Takashi Shimizu’s 7500, AfterDark 8 Films to Die For entry Wicked Little Things and the Butcher Brothers’ remake of the 1986 comedic-slasher April Fool’s Day.
She’s best known for taking on the iconic role of Laurie Strode in Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween 2 re-imaginings.
