With the unstoppable success of Discovery Channel’s annual “Shark Week” event and the box office triumph of last year’s Blake Lively shark thriller The Shallows, it’ll probably be awhile before it’s safe to go back to the entertainment platform of your choice and not see a maneater.

One such offering comes from Grindstone Entertainment, picking up rights to Cage Dive – a shark thriller following a group of American tourists trapped at sea with great whites after tragedy strikes their boat while cage diving to shoot video for an extreme reality show in Australia.

Aussie stunner Megan Peta Hill stars in the film as the person we most want to survive. She’s had guest roles in last year’s “X-Files” revival series, Syfy’s “The Magicians,” “Supernatural,” and made her feature film debut in 2010’s The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
