Teresa Palmer continues to embrace our beloved horror genre with a new role in director Cate Shortland’s (Lore) abduction thriller The Berlin Syndrome, picked up at Sundance this year by Vertical Entertainment and Netflix.

Based on the novel by Melanie Joosten, The Berlin Syndrome stars Palmer as a hot-to-trot Australian photographer who hooks up with a stranger while vacationing in Berlin and ends up trapped in his apartment after giving up her nappy dugout.

Palmer is coming off Warner Bros. creepy, awesome hit Lights Out. Horror fans got their first look at her in Takashi Shimizu’s The Grudge 2 in 2006. She’s also starred in Jonathan Levine’s romantic zombie comedy Warm Bodies, D.J. Caruso’s I Am Number Four, and the 2008 erotic thriller Restraint, in which she goes nekid!
