Twentieth Century Fox has released a trailer for Hitman: Agent 47, its new adaptation of the popular IO Interactive video game series Hitman. Rupert Friend (“Homeland”) toplines the film as the genetically engineered assassin identified only as Agent 47 by the bar code on his neck.
British stunner Hannah Ware (Oldboy) co-stars as a woman with knowledge Agent 47 needs for his mission to bring down the mega-corporation looking to uncover his background to create an army of assassins more deadly than him. Hitman: Agent 47 arrives Aug. 28.

Gina Carano, star of Fast & Furious 6 and Steven Soderbergh’s Haywire, is set to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in Twentieth Century Fox and Marvel Comics’ long gestating superhero project Deadpool. Visual effects artist Tim Miller makes his feature debut with the film, set to release Feb. 12, 2016.
Deadpoolis a foulmouthed, sarcastic, mentally unstable mercenary with regenerative healing powers like Wolverine. The film is reportedly budgeted at $50 million, and expected to be rated a hard R. Carano will play Angel Dust, a member of the underground mutant group The Morlocks.
Carano, a former MMA fighter, made her acting debut in Steven Soderbergh’s star-studded 2011 action-drama Haywire, and co-starred in 2013’s Fast & Furious 6. Shewill next be seen in Turistas director John Stockwell’s island-thriller In the Blood.

Universal and Legendary Pictures have released the first trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak, a Gothic romance set in a manor where an author mourns a family tragedy while haunted by ghosts from her past and intrigued by the arrival of a mysterious older stranger.
Crimson Peak is written and directed by del Toro and stars Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Tom Hiddleston (Thor), and Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim). It arrives in theaters Oct. 16.
Skyler Samuels is joining Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s new Fox anthology series “Scream Queens,” premiering in the fall. Described as a horror-comedy, the first season of the show will run 15 episodes and is toplined by iconic scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis and “American Horror Story” alumna Emma Roberts.
“Scream Queens” is set on a college campus plagued by a series of brutal murders. Cameras are set to roll in spring. Co-stars include Lea Michele (“Glee”), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Joe Manganiello (”True Blood”), Keke Palmer (Animal), and—this being a Ryan Murphy show—retards and celebrity cameos.
Horror fans may recognize Samuels from her recurring role on this year’s “American Horror Story: Freakshow,” ABC’s short-lived supernatural series “The Gates,” and the 2009 remake of Joseph Ruben’s 1987 thriller The Stepfather.

Backcountry tells the true story of an idiot who takes his hot girlfriend on a camping trip in the woods where they get lost, meet potential gang rapist, and run into a man-eating bear. “Rookie Blue” star Missy Peregrym plays the hot girlfriend who will hopefully survive while fighting off the elements in a clingy top.

I don’t know who director Jon Knautz is, but I’m pretty certain he’s dated his fair share of strippers. Goddess of Love is the movie you make after attempting to love someone whose soul is dead, but looks great dancing naked to Mr. Big.
Goddess of Love tells the story of love gone sour from the perspective of a lap-dancer named Venus as she loses her shit over suspicions that her boyfriend is cheating on her sweet, fine ass. The film—which looks awesome—is currently being shopped at the European Film Market.
Christina Hendricks is the latest knockout to join the cast of The Neon Demon, an L.A. based satire about cannibalistic cat-walkers co-written and directed by Nicolas Refn (Drive). Co-starring with Hendricks are Keanu Reeves, Elle Fanning, Jena Malone, model Abbey Lee and Bella Heathcote.
The Neon Demon follows a group of supermodels as they turn to cannibalism and voodoo to maintain their looks. Hendricks’ role has not been identified, but considering she’s a lot bigger than the other girls chances are she either plays a cop or is the girls’ leader, eating the bigger portions of their victims.
Hendricks will next be seen in actor Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut Lost River and in French director Gilles Paquet-Brenner’s English-language debut Dark Places, an adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s best selling 2009 novel. She plays troubled strippersin both films. The Neon Demon rolls camera March 30.
Amanda Seyfried is set to star in Black Lung, a supernatural thriller from “True Detective” producer Cary Fukunaga and screenwriter-turned-director Chase Palmer. Seyfried plays the clairvoyant wife of a Utah coal miner saved by her visions from an explosion that traps his co-workers in a mine.
The action brings a barrage of trouble for the couple. Rescue officials suspect them of foul play, while the wives of the trapped miners brood with resentment towards them. As a result, their relationship is strained to a breaking point. But, nothing compares to the shit-storm Seyfried foresees in her visions.
Seyfried made her horror debut in 2008 with the supernatural thriller Solstice. She has since starred in a string of notable frighteners, including abduction thriller Gone, the psycho-sexual Chloe, Catherine Hardwicke’s Red Riding Hood, Andrew Niccol’s In Time, and the underrated Diablo Cody-penned horror-comedy Jennifer’s Body.
“Angel” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stunner Charisma Carpenter goes very nude in TheAsylum’s Bound, a Fifty Shades of Grey knockoff about a sexually repressed MILF who discovers the BDSM lifestyle in the hands of a younger man.
This is the first time Carpenter has shown T&A onscreen since 2006’s Flirting with Danger. Bound is directed by Jared Cohn (Jailbait) and co-stars Bryce Draper (Muck) as the kinky, young suitor. The film arrives on DVD and VOD Feb. 10.
