Genre babe Suzi Lorraine is set to star in director Geoff Klein’s Pinup Dolls On Ice, the much anticipated sequel to his inspired 2009 masterpiece Bikini Girls on Ice. According to Klein, the film will have more boobs (!), blood, and back-story on serial killer Moe.
The synopsis reads:
The Pinup Dolls are a hot retro act who put the tease back in striptease. But when an old friend (Suzi Lorraine) hires them to put on a show at a secluded campground, the girls find themselves being stalked by a homicidal maniac with a sick obsession with ice.
As they’re hunted one-by-one, they soon realize they’ll have to rely on more than just their looks to survive this nightmare named Moe.
Lorraine has starred in over 40 indie flicks including the fem-driven slasher Chainsaw Sally, the cannibal chiller Destined to be Ingested, and my next Netflix pick The Lord of the G-strings: Th Femaleship of the String. The 29-year-old New York City native also writes a column for the U.K. fright mag Gorezone.

Forget Me Not marks cinematographer Tyler Oliver’s directorial debut and costars 26-year-old stunner Jillian Murray (The Graves). The film’s vagina-less costars include Cody Linley (“Hannah Montana”), Zachary Abel (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”), Micah Alberti (“Wildfire”), and Sean Wing (“Beautiful People”).
Oscar winning actress Mira Sorvino headlines director Tom Provost’s upcoming ghost story The Presence. The film marks Sorvino’s return to horror since starring in Spike Lee’s 1999 serial killer drama Son of Sam and Guillermo Del Toro’s 1997 creature-feature Mimic.
Set in an isolated cabin in the woods, The Presence centers on a woman (Sorvino) who becomes the object of a possessive phantom’s (Shane West) affection. Things complicate further when the woman’s boyfriend (Justin Kirk) shows up to join her for a romantic getaway.
At first the jealous spirit attempts to impress the woman by telling her that he invented Post-it notes. When that doesn’t work, however, he resorts to dragging chains, wearing white bed sheets and going bump in the night.
U.K. genre queen Emily Booth is set to star in director Neil Jones vampire thriller The Reverend. The 34-year-old actress joins a cast that includes Tamer Hassan (The Hike), Shane Richie (“EastEnders”) and Doug Bradley, best known for his portrayal of Pinhead in Dimension Films’ beloved Hellraiser franchise.
On a wet, cold night a mysterious girl visits The Reverend at the chapel. Cold and upset she is welcomed in warmly, soon it becomes apparent that her visit is not for sanctuary but to deliver a message, a message in the form of a deep, bloody bite…
Awoken with an unknown, uncontrollable thirst a confused Reverend can find no evidence of the girl from the night before, with nothing but the thirst and memory of the bite, The Reverend embarks on his mandate, to clean up the village and the neighbouring estate, by preaching or feasting.
The Reverend is slated to hit theaters (or not) later this year. A graphic novel based on the film will also be released as a companion piece.
Booth’s genre creds include Doghouse, in which she played a hairdresser-turned-man-hating-cannibal, and the slapstick alien invasion comedy Evil Aliens. She also held bit parts in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez’s Grindhouse (in the faux trailer for “Don’t”) and 1997’s sci-fi frightener Event Horizon.
Minnesota born model/actress Tara Heston and a bevy of bikini-clad babes face-off against some nasty high-seas hillbillies in Spotlight Pictures’ new survival-frightener The Watermen. Up until now, marketing for the film had revolved around its young male cast, most notably Clerks star Jason Mewes.
I don’t know much about Heston and her sexy costars, but—needless-to-say—this flick just got a lot more interesting!
The first official trailer for writer-turned-director Mitch Glazer’s supernatural romancer Passion Play has hit the net. The film stars Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox in a story about a downtrodden jazz musician determined to rescue a sexy winged creature from a circus sideshow.
Hammer Films have released a teaser trailer for their new supernatural frightener The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe in his first major role since Harry Potter. Based on author Susan Hill’s best-selling novel, the film is directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake) and written by Jane Goldman (Kick Ass).
The Woman in Black follows lawyer Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) as he arrives in a small U.K. town to settle the estate of an old deceased widow only to find a village held captive by a vengeful ghost. Folks in the U.K. can expect to see the thriller on Feb. 10, 2012. No word yet on a U.S. release date.
IFC Midnight has released new photos from its hookers-in-peril thriller X, starring “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” sexpot Viva Bianca and pretty 20-year-old up-and-comer Hanna Mangan-Lawrence. The film hits selected theaters for a limited run this week, but will be available nationwide on-demand on April 13.
Directed by Jon Hewitt and set in Sydney, Australia, X stars Bianca as a burnt-out prostitute who teams up with a rookie street walker—played by Lawrence—to do one last big trick. Things go terribly wrong and the girls must run for their lives, navigating through the city’s sleazy underbelly.
Bianca is best known for her turn as Commander Legatus Claudius Glaber’s oft-nude wife Iliythia on Starz’s hit swords-and-sandals series “Spartacus: Blood and Sand.” Lawrence has yet to make a name for herself in the States, but her full-frontal nude scene in X just might change that.
It may be awhile before we get to see sexy “30 Rock” star Katrina Bowden strut her stuff in director Eli Craig’s hilarious hillbilly-horror-comedy Tucker and Dale VS. Evil. The film, which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, has yet to be released in the States.
Fortunately, the dapper dudes at Esquire have chosen to spotlight Bowden in their new feature “Me in My Place.” I’m no artist, but it appears that the concept behind the shoot was to capture the 22-year-old stunner being totally natural in her home—while modeling a week’s worth of provocative underwear.
Addison Timlin and her magnificent 19-year-old breasts have officially signed on to star in director Stephen Sommers big screen adaptation of horror author Dean Koontz’s bestselling novel “Odd Thomas.” The gorgeous Philadelphia-born actress will play Stormy Llewellyn, girlfriend to protagonist Odd Thomas (Anton Yelchin).
Odd Thomas tells the story of a short-order cook who can speak with the dead and identify evil forces. When a mysterious man arrives in his small California town, Thomas is convinced that doom accompanies the stranger.
Timlin, best known for her topless performances as actress Sasha Bingham on Showtime’s “Californication,” replaces British newcomer Lily Collins in the film and reportedly beat out actresses Emma Roberts (Scream 4), Kat Dennings (Thor), and Portia Doubleday (Youth in Revolt) for the role.
Odd Thomas is budgeted at under $30 million and will go into production this summer in New Mexico.
