Former supermodel and original X-Men player Rebecca Romjin toplines RHI Entertainment’s new TV original Possessing Piper Rose. The 38-year-old stunner and “Medium’s” David Cubitt star as adoptive parents who soon realize they should have just bought some fish.

The official synopsis reads:
Joanna (Romjin) and Ben’s (Cubitt) dream of adopting a child come true when a sympathetic but mysterious agent places with them a darling four-year-old girl named Piper (Isabella Cramp).
But these new parents are plagued by a series of inexplicable and unnerving occurrences, including visions of Piper’s long-dead birth mother, and the chilling truth of Piper’s past comes to light.
Even more horrifying is what the future holds for the little girl and for her new family as they are all drawn into the chilling secrets of the dead, and beyond.
Possessing Piper Rose also stars Jared Abrahamson (Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days), Christine Wiles (Red Riding Hood), and Sarah-Jane Redmond (Case 39). Lifetime will air the supernatural thriller on Monday, Oct. 24.
Romjin is best known to movie audiences for her portrayal of mutant sexpot Mystique in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise. She’s also starred in Brian De Palma’s erotic-thriller Femme Fatale, Lionsgate’s creepy-kid frightener Godsend and Lionsgate’s ’04 adaptation of Marvel’s Punisher.
