The following is a ranking of the hottest actresses working in the horror, sci-fi, and fantasy genres as selected by my discerning penis and its esteemed nut-sac. Unlike most scream queen lists, this one does not include starlets from yesteryear, but instead focuses on women that are currently stroke-worthy working.
Rank was determined by the actresses’ looks, body of work, and likelihood of continuing to work in the genres. Feel free to argue and comment. Let’s get started with #20-thru-#11:

20. RHONA MITRA
British babe Rhona Mitra made one of the most memorable horror film debuts of all time in director Paul Verhoeven’s 2000 sci-fi thriller Hollow Man. The brunette, doe-eyed stunner—then 24-years-old—played rape victim to Kevin Bacon’s evil Invisible Man character in a scene that managed to be simultaneously silly and insanely stroke-worthy.
Sidetracked by consecutive runs on producer/writer David E. Kelly’s successful lawyer procedurals “The Practice” and “Boston Legal,” Mitra did not return to horror until 2006’s forgettable werewolf frightener Skinwalkers. A slight career miscalculation in the year that followed also landed her in the Jim Carey snoozer The Number 23.
Mitra wisely reinvented herself in 2008 as an ass-kicking sexpot in director Neil Marshall’s post-apocalyptic actioner Doomsday and was cast the as Kate Beckingsale’s replacement in Screen Gems 2009 prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans as a result.
Today, the 34-year-old actress is headlining ABC’s vampire-soap “The Gates.” Unfortunately for all our penises, she has not gone nude in horror since Hollow Man.
19. SUMMER GLAU
Summer Glau first caused sci-fi geeks to cream their Star Trek Underoos in producer/writer Joss Whedon’s beloved space-western “Firefly.” Glau played River Tam, a young, unstable fugitive with telepathic abilities who finds a home among Capt. Malcolm Reynolds and his crew of outlaw smugglers.
Glau would reprise the role in 2005’s Serenity, Whedon’s film adaptation of the canceled-way-to-soon series. Her performance earned her a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress.
A recurring part in the USA network’s ambitious sci-fi drama “The 4400” followed. Glau portrayed Tess Doerner, an alien abductee returned to earth as a schizophrenic with mind-control powers. The show was canned in 2007 over budget concerns, poor ratings, and the writer’s strike.
Despite her bad luck with sci-fi, Glau followed up The “4400” with the Fox series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”—the highest rated scripted series of the 07-08 season. The show was quickly renewed and Glau’s profile blew up thanks in part to a sexy campaign featuring the petite star as a half-naked Terminator.
“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” was unplugged after its second season run. Glau re-teamed with Whedon for a four-episode arch on his now canceled series “Dollhouse.” Up next for the Texas native is a role as a crime-fighting blogger (are there any other kind?) on NBC’s new superhero drama “The Cape.”
Galau will also try her hand at horror-comedy in director Joe Lynch’s Knights of Badassdom.
18. JULIANNA GUILL
In 2009, newcomer Julianna Guill came out swinging … her boobs. The 23-year-old North Carolina stunner shot her first-ever nude scene for Platinum Dunes’ Friday the 13th. The reboot, which grossed over $91 million worldwide, made huge stars out of Guill’s breasts and quickly led to their casting in MTV’s teen-slasher web series My Super Psycho Sweet 16.
Ironically, Guill is not a horror fan. She tells FEARnet:
I always have a hard time watching horror movies that I’m not in because they really scare me. When I’m in them I know it’s not real, but when I’m watching them I have a really hard time.
I think they’re cool, and I think the genre is really cool, but it’s not something that I flock to on a regular basis because I tend to be a huge whimp.
This year Guill has starred opposite Jessica Lowndes in director Kaare Andrews’ in-flight frightener Altitude and reprised her role as bitchy socialite Madison Penrose in MTV’s My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2.
2011 will find Guill and her magnificent breasts starring opposite Ashley Greene in Dark Castle Entertainment’s supernatural thriller The Apparition.
17. SARA PAXTON
Sara Paxton broke into horror in Rogue Pictures’ update of Wes Craven’s controversial classic The Last House on the Left. The pretty 22-year-old blonde played the role of Mari Collingwood, the good-natured coed abducted, tormented, and raped by psycho-killer Krug Stillo and his family of degenerates.
The rape is disturbingly brutal, excruciatingly long, and horrifying … if you’re watching it with your wife, girlfriend, or mom. If viewed alone, however, the scene’s sexualized violence provides hours of shameful masturbatory pleasure.
Adding to the stroke-value is the fact that Paxton had mostly starred in fam-friendly stuff (“Darcy’s Wild Life” on Discovery Channel) previous to this role and reportedly described her scenes as uncomfortable.
Next year, Paxton will star in three horror films: producer Jack Heller’s “LOST”-meets-“Twilight Zone” directorial debut Enter Nowhere, Ti West’s (House of the Devil) haunted-hotel thriller The Innkeepers, and David R. Ellis’ (The Final Destination 3-D) soon-to-shoot creature-feature Shark Night 3-D.
16. RADHA MITCHELL
Aussie starlet Radha Mitchell first captivated penis-gripping moviegoers a decade ago in the only watchable Vin Diesel film ever made Pitch Black. Roles in Joel Schumacher’s serial-killer drama Phone Booth and the Australian sailing-thriller Visitors followed.
Mitchell scared up a stronger fan base in 2006 when she took on the role of Rose Da Silva in Konami’s visually-striking and creepy adaptation of its best-selling video game Silent Hill. The part scored her a Best Actress nomination from the Australian Film Institute.
The sexy sheila caused a stir the following year by baring the bush down under in award-winning director Robert Benton’s relationship-drama The Feast of Love. While clearly not a horror film, Feast proved that Mitchell could be fooled convinced into going nude for her “art.”
Mitchell followed the drama up with starring roles in Greg Mclean’s (Wolf Creek) 2007 giant-croc frightener Rogue, Jonathan Mostow’s (Terminator: Rise of the Machines) 2009 sci-fi actioner Surrogates, and this year’s successful remake of George Romero’s classic viral outbreak thriller The Crazies. Sadly, she kept her clothes on.
But, there’s hope. Mitchell’s next project is for Oscar-nominated director Julie Delpy’s (Two Days in Paris) The Countess, an artsy-fartsy retelling of the classic Erzsebet Bathory story.
15. EMILY BROWNING
Australian starlet Emily Browning made her American film debut at the age of 14 in Warner Bros. 2002 haunted-vessel thriller Ghost Ship. Roles in 2003’s underrated evil Tooth Fairy film Darkness Falls and DreamWorks 2004 fam-friendly fantasy flick Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events followed.
After a short hiatus, Browning returned to the big screen last year in DreamWorks’ PG-13 thriller The Uninvited. The film—though just a modest success—served to heighten Browning’s profile, catapulting her into sexy R-Rated roles in Zach Snyder’s jail-bait fantasy-actioner Sucker Punch and the Australian indie-flick Sleeping Beauty, in which she plays a college-student-turned-prostitute.
14. BRIANA EVIGAN
In 1979, actor Greg Evigan introduced us to B.J. McKay and his best friend Bear—a chimpanzee—in the classic NBC show “B.J. and the Bear.” Almost a decade later, he gave us cool-artist dad Joey Harris on NBC’s “My Two Dads.” But, the greatest gift Evigan has ever given all of us is his daughter Briana Evigan.
Briana made her acting debut at age 10 alongside her father in the 1996 ghost-thriller House of the Damned. Her breakout role would come at age 22 in the truly frightening urban dance flick Step Up 2: The Streets. The film earned her an MTV award for Best Kiss and served as a showcase for her big, beautiful white girl ass.
Briana followed Streets up with an appearance on NBC’s short-lived 2008 horror anthology show “Fear Itself” before going on to star in a string of notable horror films, including the Donnie Darko sequel S. Darko, E1 Entertainment’s Sorority Row remake, and this year’s Oh-Shit-There’s-a-Tiger-in-the-House thriller Burning Bright.
Up next for the 23-year-old stunner is a part in director Darren Lynn Bousman‘s long-delayed remake Mother’s Day. Evigan will star opposite Rebecca De Mornay, Jaime King, and Deborah Ann Woll.
13. DANIELLE HARRIS
Self proclaimed serial killer enthusiast Danielle Harris got her start in horror at the age of 11 opposite one of the genre’s most iconic figures in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. In 2007, she returned to the franchise as an entirely different character in Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake and its sequel Halloween 2.
Along with her good looks and willingness to go nude, Harris earns a spot on this list for her commitment to horror. The 33-year-old actress has starred in The Black Waters of Echo Pond, Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet, Left for Dead, Urban Legend, and Fearnet.com’s web series “Fear Clinic.”
Up next for the petite starlet are roles in Adam Green’s Hatchet 2, Jim Mickle’s vampire-roadtrip Stake Land, the indie survival-frightener The Victim, Julian Richard’s serial-killer drama Shiver, and Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3-D, an animated update of the George Romero classic.
12. DANIELLE PANABAKER
Georgia peach Danielle Panabaker made her horror debut playing Kevin Costner’s daughter in the 2007 serial-killer drama Mr. Brooks. The film failed to find an audience during its theatrical run, but Panabaker would go on to court fright fans as the lead in Platinum Dunes 2009 remake of the classic slasher Friday the 13th.
Friday the 13th was a success at the box office, earning over $65 million domestically and landing Panabaker on horror fans’ radar. She scored another hit this year with Overture Films’ remake of George Romero’s viral-outbreak thriller The Crazies followed.
In an interview with ShockTillYouDrop, Panabaker expressed her delight at becoming one of horror’s scream queens. She said:
I’d love to be a scream queen. I think it’s fun. I’m still fairly young and new to the business. So, understanding all of the different aspects of filmmaking and what goes into it is fascinating to me, and understanding the different genres.
Up next for Panabaker is a role as a mental patient in director John Carpenter’s all-girl madhouse-thriller The Ward. The film marks the 61-year-old horror legend’s return to the big screen since 2001’s Ghosts of Mars.
11. BOBBI SUE LUTHER
Any girl named Bobbi Sue is destined to get through life by the sweat of her breasts. Bobbi Sue Luther is no exception. The 32-year-old, Maryland-born sexpot has a couple of the hardest working 34-E’s in the biz.
The 2009 slasher Laid to Rest finds Luther’s breasts waking up in a coffin with temporary amnesia. Escape from the pine box comes easy, but battling sadistic killer Chrome Skull proves more difficult. The film is definitely a cut above most slashers and features a quick, but wonderful, topless scene from Luther.
Luther’s breasts will next been seen in Adam Gierasch’s long-delayed Night of the Demons, an amped-up remake of the 1988 cult classic starring beloved scream-queen Linnea Quigley. Luther’s breasts reportedly pay homage to Quigley’s classic lipstick-around-the-nipples scene in the redo.
Luther’s breasts have also starred in the Robert Englund direct-to-DVD vehicle Killer Pad, the Dowdle Brothers (Devil, Quarantine) still unreleased Poughkeepsie Tapes and Fox TV’s “Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles,” in which she played the Emmy-worthy role of Bar Skank.
