“Spartacus: Blood and Sand” starlet Erin Cummings and Machete headliner Danny Trejo are in talks to star in director Oley Sassone’s (“Xena: Warrior Princess”) low-budget revenge-thriller Tarantula.

Produced by Hollywood husband-and-wife team John and Jennifer Kersey, Tarantula tells the story of a woman (Cummings) who breaks ties with a biker gang in the hopes of starting a new life. Things get complicated, however, when the gang’s leader (Trejo) tracks her down while looking for the peeps resonsible for his brother’s death.

The film is budgeted at $2.5 million and will be shot in Detroit this November.

Can’t wait to see Cummings again? “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” arrives on DVD and Blu-ray (with extended orgy scenes) on Sept. 21. The 24-year-old stunner can also be seen in Bitch Slap, Rick Jacobson’s ode to babes, bombs, and boobs.
