Paramount Pictures has released a final trailer for its upcoming sequel to 2018’s monster hit A Quiet Place, starring the film’s director John Krasinski and stunner Emily Blunt as parents raising children in an apocalyptic future where the slightest sound brings death from the alien creatures that have overrun the earth.
Slated for release in theaters May 28, the story picks up after the events of the original and pits the surviving Abbott family members up against new horrors while attempting to escape the dangers they know. The movie will also give us a look at Day One of the alien invasion!
Phoebe Tonkin, co-star on the The CW’s “Vampire Diaries” and its spinoff series “The Originals,” is set to star in Night Shift, a supernatural thriller about a hot woman’s first night working at a creepy motel while attempting to survive paranormal threats and a familiar stalker.
Tonkin plays a hot chick working the night shift at a remote motel who believes she’s being stalked by some asshole from her past and haunted by paranormal forces.
Night Shift marks the directorial debut of Benjamin and Paul China and co-stars Lamorne Morris (“New Girl”), Patrick Fischler (“LOST”), Madison Hu (Bad Words), and Lauren Bowles (Hall Pass).
Tonkin is best known for her role as she-wolf Hayley Marshall on The CW’s “Vampire Diaries” and its spinoff “The Originals.” She’s also co-starred in the Aussie shark thriller Bait
Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have released a first full-length trailer for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, a second sequel in the blockbuster franchise inspired by the paranormal cases of real-life married demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, best known for their work on the infamous Amityville Horror case of 1975.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as the Warrens, who this time out take on the case of a murder suspect claiming demonic possession as his defense in court. Helmed by Michael Chaves (Curse of La Llorona) and produced by James Wan, the film arrives June 4 to theaters and HBO Max.

Lionsgate has released a first full-length trailer for Spiral: From the Book of SAW, comedian Chris Rock’s much buzzed about new entry in the recently rebooted SAW franchise. Rock, who conceived the film’s story and serves as an executive producer, stars as a detective investigating a series of horrific murders reminiscent of the city’s Jigsaw killings.
Director Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II-IV) is once again at the helm. Co-stars include Samuel L. Jackson as Rock’s father, Max Minghella (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) as his partner, Marisol Nichols (“24”) as milfy Captain Angie Garza, and Nazneen Contractor (Star Trek: Into Darkness) as a sexy coroner to die for.
The footage looks great minus the new puppet which is laughably awful and a huge disappointment. The film also has a problem with voice…literally. Rock’s high pitch is the same as when he’s hitting a punchline, Jackson sounds like Jackson, and the Jigsaw heir sounds goofy.
A trailer has gone online for supernatural thriller Things Heard & Seen, a new Netflix original premiering April 29. The film follows a couple whose marriage collapses further when they move into a small town farm haunted by its previous and brutally murdered owners.
Amanda Seyfried plays the wife in the film, a big city babe struggling with small town life, who is the first to believe the couple’s new home is haunted. An adaptation of the 2016 novel “All Things Cease to Appear,” Things Heard & Seen is helmed by people named Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini.
Margot Robbie returns as Harley Quinn in Warner Bros.’ The Suicide Squad, a reboot of the much maligned 2016 original from once promising director David Ayer. Hollywood degenerate James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) is now at the helm.
The movie’s red-band trailer just clocked in at more than 150 million views in one week, a new record. The film looks pretty gonzo and suggests a film that will mos-def be better than Ayer’s, but still has the potential to be shitty.
Gunn’s work on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is impeccable, but his decision here to present Harley Quinn in attire other than tiny booty shorts is a waste of an R rating and a missed opportunity to improve on Birds of Prey.
Warner Bros. released The Justice League in 2017 and it was dubbed a turd faster than a speeding bullet. The reason, it’s largely believed, was due to helmer Zack Snyder handing the flick over to Avengers director Joss Whedon when personal tragedy struck. Whedon shit the bed and DC was left with a mess in its hands.
Geeks clamored for what soon became known as the Snyder cut of the film and HBO Max has come to the rescue, announcing a 2021 release of Snyder’s Justice League, minus Whedon’s stank, as a four-hour series on its streaming service. Here’s hoping half of that run-time is spent on slow-mo shots of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman running, jumping, and sucker punching!

Fresh off her nude debut on HBO’s “Lovecraft Country,” Jamie Chung is once again set to thrill horror fans with a role on Showtime’s eagerly anticipated “Dexter” revival series. Chung will play a hot and famous host of a true crime podcast.
Chung is best known to fright fans for her work in Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch, Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, sex trafficking thriller Eden, in-flight frightner 7500, and 2009’s re-imagining of Sorority Row.
Chung also co-starred on Fox’s Batman origins series “Gotham” as journalist Valerie Vale and played Mulan on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time.”
The 10-episode “Dexter” revival series sees Michael C. Hall back as one-time prolific serial killer and Miami Metro’s forensics specialist Dexter Morgan—last seen living incognito as a lumberjack in the show’s unbelievably horrible series final. Set to premiere this fall, the show aims to give Dexter fans a proper end.
Piranha 3DD stunner Katrina Bowden is once again up against a deadly fish in director Martin Wilson’s feature film debut Great White. Bowden plays a hot sea plane pilot who crash lands in the ocean with her boyfriend while flying passengers to a picturesque destination. The group must swim to the beach for safety while hunted by great white sharks.
Bowden is best known for her role on the NBC comedy “30 Rock” and is the very sexy star of such notable fright flicks as John Gulager’s Piranha 3DD, Nurse 3D with wacko sex-pot Paz de la Huerta (“Boardwalk Empire”), horror-comedy Scary Movie 5, and Eli Craig’s hilarious cult classic Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.
Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have released an official trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong, premiering simultaneously in theaters and HBO Max March 31. Fright master Adam Wingard (You’re Next, Blair Witch 2016) is at the helm, directing from a script by Eric Pearson (Black Widow) and Max Borenstein (Godzilla 2014, Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters).
As the title spells out, the film pits the radioactive lizard against the big ape in an epic battle sure to wreak havoc on the earth and it’s tiny peeps. Kong, on a journey to find his home with the help of human do-gooders, crosses paths with a pissed off Godzilla and monkey shit hits the fan!
While we don’t care about the people in Godzilla vs. Kong, the film does have a few stunners we hope survive long enough to take an onscreen shower: Eiza González (“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series”), Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) and Jessica Henwick (Underwater).
