Warner Bros. has released a final trailer for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, a retelling of the classic tale starring Charlie Hunnam (“Sons of Anarchy”) as Arthur and Clatto favorite Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) as Mage, a hot magician and resistance fighter.

The new story finds Arthur orphaned and raised in a brothel when his parents are murdered and his uncle seizes the crown, robbing him of his birthright. He grows up in the back alleys running guns with a motorcycle club until he comes upon the Excalibur sword and discovers his true calling.

Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey – she of the natural breasts controversially cast by Disney as mermaid Syrena in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – has mostly starred in foreign fare since following up her Pirates role with the 2014 sci-fi drama I Origins. King Arthur:Legend of the Sword arrives May 12.

Peep it:

HBO has released a promo trailer for season seven of its epic fantasy series “Game of Thrones.” While show footage is yet to be revealed, the battle ahead is teased as Jon Snow (Kit Harington) takes his place as Winterfell’s King of the North, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) sits at her birthland Dragonstone, and Cersei Lannister’s (Lena Headey) claims King’s Landing’s Iron Throne.

All will have to deal with the Night King and his white walker army. It all goes down July 16.

Peep it:

The first full-length trailer for New Line Cinema’s adaptation of fright master Stephen King’s beloved novel It is now online. The film is helmed by Andrés Muschietti (Mama) and stars Bill Skarsgaard (“Hemlock Grove”) as Pennywise, a murderous clown preying upon the children of Derry, Maine.

“It” the novel released in 1986 and spawned a small screen adaptation by ABC that ran as a special two-day event and starred Tim Curry as Pennywise. Now set in the 80’s, It once again follows the Loser’s Club of kids as they set out to uncover the mystery of Pennywise and defeat him before he kills again.

It creeps into theaters Sept. 8.

Peep it:

Denise Richards and Mischa Barton are set to star in The Toybox, a film that apparently isn’t available in the cougar/cub girl-on-girl section at Hotmovies.com. Turns out The Toybox is a supernatural thriller starring the respective Wild Things and “The O.C.” stunners.

Richards plays a MILF on a cross-country trip with her family when a demonic force attacks them while stranded in a desert. Barton joins the family as a mysterious traveler. The Toybox is co-written and directed by Tom Nagel (Clowntown).

The Toybox marks a return to horror for Richards whose breakthrough came with 1997’s Starship Troopers and the following year’s epic who-done-it erotic thriller Wild Things. Since 2001’s slasher Valentine and 2003’s horror spoof Scary Movie 3, Richards has stuck to nudeless comedies 🙁

Mischa Barton

Barton, on the other hand, has embraced horror wholeheartedly since her debut as a tween in 1999’s The Sixth Sense. Noted works include buried alive frightener Walled In, psycho-bitch thriller Homecoming, Cyberstalker, the remake of Ataru Oikawa’s Apartment 1303, supernatural romance I Will Follow You Into the Dark, horror satire L.A. Slasher and whatever the fuck  Zombie Killers: Elephant Graveyard is!

Warner Bros. has released its first official trailer for DC Films’ Justice League. Zack Snyder directs Ben Affleck as the Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Plot revolves around Batman and Wonder Woman forming a group of “metahumans” to pose for selfies with tourist on Hollywood boulevard – kidding! It’s to save the world of course!

Maybe we’re on drugs too, but Affleck continues to impress as the Caped Crusader – not as intense as Christian Bale and less cartooney than the others. Momoa is a hilarious scene-stealer and there’s Gadot ass cheek at the 1:20 mark – which is important to note in a film full of dudes in tights.

Peep it:

Alicia Vikander is set to star in Freakshift, a horror-actioner from acclaimed writer and director Ben Wheatley (Kill List). Vikander will play the leader of a misfit squad of cops tasked with hunting down nocturnal underground monsters – like C.H.U.D.!!!

Vikander was named Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars last year for her role in The Danish Girl, but movie audiences most likely saw her in the A.I. thriller Ex Machina and, possibly, the criminally underrated Man From U.N.C.L.E. remake .

Vikander will next be playing the iconic role of Lara Croft in director Roar Uthaug’s (Cold Prey) Tomb Raider reboot for MGM and GK Films.

Rooney Mara has officially been nixed from reprising the role of emotionally disturbed hacker Lisbeth Salander in the upcoming sequel to Sony Pictures’ The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, opening doors to more beautiful and sexy actresses like Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, and Alicia Vikander – all said to be up for the part.

Fede Alvarez, director of exceptional fright flicks Don’t Breathe and 2013’s Evil Dead remake, is at the helm of the sequel, titled The Girl in the Spider’s Web, and is very excited about casting his new, hotter female lead.

He tells Variety:

Lisbeth Salander is the kind of character any director dreams of bringing to life. We’ve got a great script and now comes the most fun part — finding our Lisbeth.

Damn straight that’s gonna be fun. Mara went nude and scored an Oscar nomination. Alvarez could be in for the ass parade of his life! Lets hope agents for Alexandra Daddario and Megan Fox are already on this too!

“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is the first book in what is collectively known as the Millennium Trilogy, novels by late Swedish author Stieg Larsson. They have sold more than 40 million copies worldwide. Larrson, a journalist and political activist, died of a heart attack at the age 50 in 2004. According to his longtime live-in girlfriend Eva Gabrielsson, he left behind pages to his unfinished fourth book in the series.

“The Girl in the Spider’s Web” is not based on those pages, but instead written by David Lagercrantz with the Larsson’s estate’s support. Gabrielsson calls Lagercrantz an “idiotic choice” for carrying on the book series.

Alvarez’s The Girl in the Spider’s Web is slated for release Oct. 5, 2018.

Medallion Releasing has set an April 28 theatrical release date for German director Marcel Walz’s remake of Blood Feast, the 1963 H.G. Lewis classic that carries the distinction of being the very first splatter film. Walz’s credits include Seed 2 and Le Petite Mort (Little Death).

Robert Rusler, they called him “Mad” Max in Weird Science, plays an American restaurateur in France, moonlighting at a museum where he falls for an Egyptian deity demanding human sacrifice, including the lives of his wife and daughter, played by stunner Sophie Monk.

Horror fans will know Monk from her nude-acting roles in the 2009 slasher The Hills Run Red and the 2007 horror comedy Sex and Death 101.

South African model-turned-actress Tanya van Graan co-stars in Tremors 6, the newest sequel in the ongoing monster movie franchise first introduced in 1990 and starring Kevin Bacon. This time out, the worms and creatures terrorize Canada and could be part of a weaponizing conspiracy.

No word on what role Graan plays in Tremors 6, but we’re hopeful she’s the someone in this synopsis:

… the only hope is to create an antidote from fresh venom — but to do that, someone will have to figure out how to milk a Graboid!

Now, that right there is a guarantee for pre-orders!

Genre fans will know Graan from her work in Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, Lost Boys: The Thirst, and Death Race 2 & 3 with fellow South African stunner Tanit Phoenix. She was named FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World 2007.

Malin Akerman is set to star in Rampage, New Line’s adaptation of the 80’s arcade game pitting players against three giant monsters mutated from a gorilla, a crocodile, and a wolf. Akerman will play the head of the tech company responsible for creating and unleashing the creatures.

Brad Peyton (San Andreas) is at the helm and Dwayne Johnson stars. Co-stars include Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”), Naomie Harris (Spectre), Marley Shelton (Grindhouse), and Breanne Hill (San Andreas). Cameras roll next month in Atlanta.

Akerman came to fame as sexy costumed crime fighter Silk Spectre II in Zack Snyder’s Watchmen. She’s since stuck mostly to romantic comedies up until her current role in the Showtime drama “Billions.”
