‘Slenderman’ Gets Hold of ‘Affair’ Brat Julia Goldani-Telles!

Julia Goldani-Telles (“The Affair”) is set to co-star in Screen Gems’ Slenderman, an adaptation of the popular urban legend about a freakishly tall and faceless man with elongated arms who is the cause of many mysterious disappearances and deaths.

Goldani-Telles joins Annalise Basso (Oculus), Joey King (The Conjuring), Talitha Bateman (Annabelle: Creation), and Jaz Sinclair (When the Bough Breaks). Sylvain White, director of dance drama Stomp the Yard and stylish actioner The Losers, helms from a script co-written by Elle scribe David Birke.

Goldani-Telles made her acting debut on the ABC Family series “Bunheads” and currently stars as bratty teen Whitney Solloway on the Showtime drama “The Affair.”

Slenderman is slated for release May 18, 2018.

Mandy Moore, Claire Holt Get Us Hooked for ’47 Meters Down’

A new trailer has gone online for 47 Meters Down. The shark thriller is directed by Johannes Roberts (The Other Side of the Door) and stars pop-singer-turned-actress Mandy Moore (pictured above) and Claire Holt (”Aquarius”) as hot cage-diving sisters trapped undersea with great whites.

47 Meters Down finds Moore and Holt vacationing in Mexico off the coast of Huatulco on a cage-diving expedition to observe great white sharks. When cables snap, the cage sinks to the bottom of the ocean and the sisters have less than an hour of oxygen to get back to the surface in shark infested waters.

The movie looks fun, but how many times can the chicks keep dodging the shark bites!

Bond Girl Bérénice Marlohe Pulls the ‘Kill Switch’

French actress Bérénice Marlohe stars in F/X guru Tim Smit’s directorial debut Kill Switch, a sci-fi thriller about an experiment for unlimited energy that goes wrong or some shit and finds a pilot trying to save his family and humanity from an imploding world or something.

It all sounds pretty convoluted, but Marlohe is a Bond girl – last seen meeting a tragic end as vengeful former sex slave Severine in Sam Mendes’ Skyfall  – and that alone is worth the trouble. She’ll next make an appearance in an episode of David Lynch’s upcoming “Twin Peaks” revival.

Kill Switch hits selected theaters and VOD June 16.

Christina Hendricks Faces Big Big Trouble in ‘The Strangers 2’

Cameras are set to roll May 20 on Bryan Bertino’s The Strangers 2, the long gestating sequel to Bertino’s terrifying 2008 home invasion classic. Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) is at the helm with a script penned by Bertino and Ben Ketai (30 Days of Night: Dark Days).

Christina Hendricks (“Mad Men”) stars as the immensely busty matriarch of a family stranded at an abandoned trailer park and tormented by masked killers during a road trip gone terribly wrong. Lewis Pullman (Aftermath) plays her husband and Bailee Madison (“Trophy Wife”) is their flat chested daughter.

Hendrick’s is coming off French director Gilles Paquet-Brenner’s English-language debut Dark Places, an adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s best selling 2009 novel about a woman doubtful of the testimony she gave as a child to put her brother away for murder, and Nicolas Refn’s cannibal cat-walk thriller Neon Demon.

Alyssa Sutherland Is a MILF in ‘The Mist’

Spike has released a new trailer for its upcoming horror series “The Mist.” Based on the Stephen King novella, the show follows a community tormented by supernatural forces hidden in the mist engulfing their small town on the wake of a horrible crime.

“Vikings” star Alyssa Sutherland (pictured) stars in the series as Eve Copeland, wife and mother dedicated to protecting her teen daughter while facing her own troubled past. “The Mist” runs 10 episodes and premieres June 22.

Watch ‘It,’ Buddy!

A new trailer has gone online for New Line Cinema’s adaptation of fright master Stephen King’s beloved novel It. The film is helmed by Andrés Muschietti (Mama) and stars Bill Skarsgaard (”Hemlock Grove”) as Pennywise, a murderous clown preying upon the children of Derry, Maine.

“It” the novel released in 1986 and spawned a small screen adaptation by ABC that ran as a special two-day event and starred Tim Curry as Pennywise. Now set in the 80’s, It once again follows the Loser’s Club of kids as they set out to uncover the mystery of Pennywise and defeat him before he kills again.

‘Wonder Woman’ Was An Annoying Kid!

Warner Bros. has released a final trailer for it’s upcoming Wonder Woman origins film, starring Gal Gadot as the Amazonian warrior princess out to help American intelligence officer Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) stop World War I.

The new trailer reveals what an obnoxious little girl Diana is before blossoming into the leggy do-gooder we’ve come to know and love as Wonder Woman. Seriously, the kid is a nightmare just begging for a good smack upside the head and no supper. It doesn’t help the child actor playing her blows donkey dicks.

Ingrid Bisu Conjures Up Hotness in ‘The Nun’

Romanian starlet Ingrid Bisu is set to star in The Nun, the James Wan produced Conjuring 2 spinoff. She joins co-stars Taissa Farmiga (“American Horror Story”), Charlotte Hope (“Game of Thrones”), Demian Bichir (“The Bridge”), and Bonnie Aarons reprising her role as the demonic nun.

The Nun follows an old priest with a complicated past and a novitiate on the cusp of completing her final vows sent by the Vatican to investigate the mysterious suicide of young nun and uncovering all sorts of unholiness. Bisu plays hot, young nun Sister Oana.

Bisu made her horror debut in Uwe Boll’s BloodRayne in 2005 and has since gone on to appear in Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem and fright flicks Slaughter and Dracula: The Dark Prince.

The Nun arrives July 13, 2018.

Hounds of Love is the kind of stand-by-your-man romance story we just don’t see anymore — a love affair between a homicidal rapist and the co-dependent woman who helps him find his victims. Sure, it’s not healthy, but if you’re in a relationship, you know how difficult it can be to simply agree on dinner.

Hounds of Love stars Stephen Curry (Rogue) and Emma Booth (Gods of Eygpt) as the homicidal couple, whose devotion to each other is put to the test by the young girl (Ashleigh Cummings) they’ve abducted whose will to live is only matched by her cunning.
