Lionsgate and Saban Films have released a teaser for heavy-metal-hero-turned-filmmaker Rob Zombie’s Three From Hell, the third chapter in his white trash opus that begun with the ridiculously awful House of a 1000 Corpses and left off with the not as horrible as House of a 1000 Corpses sequel The Devil’s Rejects.
Three From Hell sees Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and Sherri Moon Zombie return from the dead to cause more mayhem and violence. It is slated to arrive in theaters in September.
Charlotte Vega is set to star in Constantin Film’s upcoming reboot of its 2003 backwoods horror gem Wrong Turn.Who is Vega? Horror fans may have caught a glimpse of the Spanish stunner in her 2012 film debut REC: Genesis and 2017’s highly underrated goth thriller The Lodgers.
Helmed by Mike P. Nelson (The Domestics) from a script by original Wrong Turn scribe Alan B. McElroy, the new film pits six New Yorkers against a mysterious and dangerous community living in the West Virginia mountains.
The original Wrong Turn starred Eliza Dushku (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) as a final girl hunted by inbred cannibals in the West Virginia mountains. The film took more than $28 million and spawned five gory and highly entertaining sequels.
Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto’s goes nude in Only, an apocalyptic thriller about a plague that is wiping out women, making survivors valuable to men who hope to impregnate them and a target for those looking to enjoy nonconsensual sexy time with them.
Pinto plays one of the hottest survivors alive. She must evade hunters eager to sell her ovaries to the government for a bounty and horny dudes who recognize her slamming body despite her efforts to hide it.
Early reviews have been harsh and dismiss the flick as a crappy spin on Y: The Last Man, but to us it’s more reminiscent of the 2002 adult film classic, Whore Hunters—which features a hill-billy hunter taking down a female with an arrow shot to the butthole! We’re sure Only doesn’t have anything remotely as hot, but Pinto nude is good enough!
Entertainment Studios has released a first trailer for 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, a sequel to Johannes Roberts’ surprise hit 47 Meters Down, starring Mandy Moore and Claire Holt as sisters abandoned at the bottom of the sea in a shark cage.
This time out, the story centers on four hot teens as they explore a sunken city unaware of the man-eating sharks that call its ruins home. Sistine Stallone, daughter of Sylvester Stallone, and Corinne Foxx, daughter of Jamie Foxx, make their feature film debuts alongside Sophie Nelisse (The Book Thief), Brianne Tju (”Scream”), and Nickelodean star Brec Bassinger (pictured above).
Katie Aselton (”The League”) is a porn star dropped in the middle of a slasher in Deep Murder, a horror-comedy set in the world of porn in which life-and-death events force change among its archetypal characters, helping them evolve from sex-crazed tropes into real people.
Aselton plays a hotwife making a cuckold out of her husband by banging his brother. Stunner Jessica Parker Kennedy (”Black Sails”) co-stars as the hot babysitter. Funny enough, like porn, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary plot! But, you won’t find Aselton and Kennedy on PornHub so this will have to do…on VOD June 14.
New Line Cinema has released a new trailer for Annabelle Comes Home, a second sequel in the Annabelle franchise and newest entry to The Conjuring Universe. Arriving in theaters June 26, the film finds the doll rubbing elbows with other evil artifacts in paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren’s home.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their Conjuring roles of Ed and Lorraine Warren, but we’re most thrilled to see Madison Iseman, the goldilocked stunner who morphs into Jack Black in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, as the Warren’s hot babysitter.
Kevin Greutert, director of SAW 6, one of the best in the horror series, has tapped Maggie Grace (“LOST”) to topline Incident On 459, an inflight frightener about a demon possessed passenger on a plane from Boston to London.
Grace plays a hot MILF and psychologist on board the flight with her special needs kid and ex-boyfriend. It’s up to Grace to take on the possessed flier before the plane is either made to crash or blown out of the sky by the Air Force. Cameras roll in September.
Grace is best known for her portrayal of spoiled rich girl Shannon Rutherford on ABC’s Emmy-winning drama “LOST.” She made her major horror film debut in the 2005 remake of John Carpenter’sThe Fog and went on to co-star inThe Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead.”
Paramount Pictures released this week a first trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate, a reboot of the franchise set immediately following the events of Terminator: Judgement Day. Tim Miller (Dead Pool) directs with James Cameron producing and Linda Hamilton reprising the iconic role of Sarah Conner.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back too as the T-800. No sign of John Conner —the dude destined to save the world from the machines—but there’s a girl, Natalia Reyes, who just might do the trick and she’s protected by a gender-fluid looking terminator, played by Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049).
Oh, the new bad terminator? Eh. The endoskeleton is absolutely sick, but when in human form, he just doesn’t look menacing at all.
Sony Pictures has released a final trailer for Brightburn, an origins tale about a Superman-like kid who isn’t super nice around people. Beloved Hollywood degenerate James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) produces with director David Yarovesky (The Hive) at the helm.
Stunner Elizabeth Banks (Hunger Games) and David Denman (”The Office”) topline the film as a rural couple who find an abandoned alien baby (Jackson A. Dunn) who uses his super powers for evil. It arrives in theaters May 24.
Kaya Scodelario, Johnny Depp’s stunning co-star in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, is set to make another big splash in Paramount’s Crawl, a man-against-nature thriller pitting her up against a hurricane and deadly alligators!
Scodelario plays a hot and thoughtful daughter who ignores evacuation orders to find her missing father (Barry Pepper) during a massive hurricane in Florida. Trapped by the floods with no help in sight, they must ride out the storm while fending off hungry gators!
Crawl is helmed by Alexandre Aja (Piranha 3D) and produced by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead). It crawls (ha!) into theaters July 12.
