Holy Eliza Dushku, Batman! Catwoman Is a Stripper in ‘Batman: Year One’

eliza_dushku_cheeky

Tiny waist, giant boobs, skimpy outfits—the animated babes found in video games and comic books are pretty racy. Unfortunately, the sling bikinis and thigh-high boots never make the wardrobe when played on the big screen by Hollywood starlets. Thankfully, animated features deliver a more thrilling portrayal.

Take DC and Warner Bros’ home-video original Batman: Year One. Both the DVD and Blu-ray include a bonus 15-minute film that finds Catwoman (voiced by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Dollhouse” babe Eliza Dushku) working as a stripper to get close to diamond smuggler Rough Cut.

DC Universe will premiere the short at the New York Comic-Con this Friday so don’t expect any leaked footage until about 30 seconds after the presentation goes down. In the meantime, peep the pic:

Emma.Caufield-red-panties

Emma Caulfield is the latest guest star to join ABC’s much buzzed about fairytale-themed series “Once Upon a Time.” The 38-year-old looker will play the kid-eating blind witch from Hansel and Gretel in the show’s ninth episode.

Caulfield, who first broke into what we insiders call show business playing Brandon Walsh’s girlfriend on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” is best known to horror fans for her portrayal of vengeance demon Anya Jenkins on The WB’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

Her first lead role in a feature film was in the 2003 Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) Tooth Fairy frightener Darkness Falls. She hasn’t done a lot of horror since then, but will soon be seen in the indie-thriller Removal, opposite Kelly Brook (Piranha 3-D) and Billy Burke (Drive Angry 3-D).

“Once Upon a Time” was created by “LOST” executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The show  follows Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), as she attempts to set free the small New England town of Storybrooke from an Evil Queen’s (Lana Parilla) grasp.

“Once Upon a Time” premieres Sunday, Oct. 23 at 8pm.

Up-and-Comer Jessica Blackmore Meets Vengeful Spirits in ‘The Sacred’

Jessica-Blackmore-Bikini

Osiris Entertainment is eyeballing a November DVD release date for its long delayed supernatural thriller The Sacred. Written and directed by Jose Zambrano Casella, the film stars 5-foot-8 stunner Jessica Blackmore as part of a group of university students who set out to explore the Florida swamps where Native Americans were believed to have conducted ceremonies with vengeful spirits.

Peep it:

The official synopsis reads:

A group of University students travel to a remote, sacred land deep in the heart of the Florida swamps to complete their senior thesis project on Native American folklore. Hundreds of years ago this place was used by Indians to pass judgment on criminals and unwanted members of their tribal community.

Legend has it that these grounds have the magical ability to bring past victims back to life, ultimately punishing or killing whoever is guilty, but no one has yet to find proof. As the students make their way down the trail, they come across an ancient ceremonial site.

They are suddenly faced with visions of their past they wish they had forgotten. One by one, their memories become reality, and everyone they ever committed a sin against now has the power to get even. As they beg for forgiveness for their previous mistakes, they realize they can do nothing but accept their fate in the same way their victims did, but worse.

The Sacred costars Jordan Wall (“The Glades”), John Kyle (The Tenant), David Mackey (House of Blood), John Archer Lundgren (Zombies, Zombies, Zombies), Leander Suleiman (Contract Killers) and sexy newcomer Lauren Brown (Bloody 27).

Aaron Eckhart Comes Alive in ‘I, Frankenstein’

Aaron-Eckhart-I-Frankenstein

Aaron Eckhart is ready to breath some life into Lakeshore Entertainment’s I, Frankenstein, a futuristic re-imagining of Mary Shelly’s classic novel in which Frankenstein’s monster is created by Apple Inc. to replace Steve Jobs … what? Too soon?

I, Frankenstein is director Stuart Beattie’s (Tomorrow, When the War Began) big-screen adaptation of Kevin Grevioux’s (“Underworld”) graphic novel. A sequel of sorts, the story reveals that Victor Frankenstein’s monster did not commit suicide, but is instead living in a Gothic metropolis where two immortal clans have been feuding for centuries.

Says Eckhart:

Somebody says, ‘Do you want to play Frankenstein?’ and I was like, ‘Well, I haven’t thought about it. Then I read the script.

Whenever you read a script that you want to do, you start feeling yourself in that character. All of a sudden your juices start flowing. That’s how you know you should do a movie.

Now I’m gonna be Frankenstein and I’m kind of worried about it, actually. I’ve gotta go and figure out how the hell I’m gonna play Frankenstein.

Eckhart, who is coming off Columbia Pictures’ alien-invasion actioner Battle: Los Angeles, has starred in Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight, Brian De Palma’s The Black Dahlia, John Woo’s Paycheck, Paramount Pictures’ The Core and Suspect Zero and the 2001 Sean Penn-directed serial killer drama The Pledge.

Eckhart is currently shooting Pan with Soul Surfer starlet AnnaSophia Robb. The Ben Hibon-directed film, a dark take on the classic Peter Pan tale, finds Eckhart playing a former detective named Hook, who is still on the hunt for a child predator Pan.

The film, written by David Tillman (Vampire Survivor), will begin production on Nov. 12 in Los Angeles. Indies Dark Highway Films, KK&P, and Uptik Entertainment are all producing.

Boyle is best known for her roles as Donna Hayward on “Twin Peaks” and Serleena, a sexy shape-shifting alien queen, in Men in Black II. Get a Whiff of ‘Hills Have Eyes’ Star Vinessa Shaw In ‘Siren’

Vinessa_Shaw_Siren

Hills Have Eyes starlet Vinessa Shaw will topline screenwriter Jesse Peyronel feature film debut Siren, a modern day fairy tale about a woman whose scent is so overwhelmingly pleasing it makes her irresistible to men (where I come from, we call those women strippers).

Peyronel tells THR:

It’s really a grounded intimate look at someone who has a special ability but looked at in a personal way. It’s takes a more a realistic look at an X-Men-style power.

Oddly enough, I exude a special smell that drives people away from me. But, I can only initiate the power after consuming Taco Bell cheesy bean & rice burritos.

Siren is produced by Eccho Media and costars Bess Wohl (Flightplan), Rob Kazinsky (Pacific Rim) and Ross Partridge (Prom Night). Production is currently underway in Massachusetts.

Shaw’s genre creds include the 1981 Thanksgiving Day slasher Home Sweet Home (in which she made her acting debut at the age of five), the Disney witch comedy Hocus Pocus, indie-frightener Stag Night, and Alexandre Aja’s 2006 remake of Wes Craven’s horror classic The Hills Have Eyes.
