beau-garrett-hot

Model-turned-actress Beau Garrett (Tron: Legacy) stars alongside Josh Duhamel (Transformers) and stunner Rebekah Graf (The Dirt) in Capsized: Blood in the Water, an original scripted shark thriller set to premiere July 31st  as part of the Discovery Channel’s 31st annual “Shark Week.”

The film is a reunion for Garrett and Duhamel, who co-starred together in 2006’s highly underrated abduction frightener Turistas—Garrett’s major movie acting debut.

Based on a true story, Capsized: Blood in the Water follows the crew of an overturned yacht as they drift in the Atlantic fending off man-eating tiger sharks out to devour them for a tasty meal. But, hey, remember sharks are nice and like people and are probably more scared of you…

Get outta here, Shark Week, and sell that crazy to the peeps that got eaten alive and inspired this horrific tale! Shark Week premieres this year on July 28.

Enter “The Boys.” Led by Karl Urban at his most angry setting, this gritty group of vigilantes are out for corrupt superhero blood using nothing more than their rage and willingness to fight dirty.

The-Purge-tv

The USA Network has released its first teaser-trailer for season two of “The Purge,” a small-screen companion series to the Blumhouse hit movie franchise. Set to premiere in the fall, the new season will be 10 episodes long and explore the ramifications of Purge night for a handful of participants for the remaining year.

Now, that is one hell of a concept and holds potential for an enthralling season. We had given up hope on the TV series after season one, but faith in our New Founding Fathers just may have been restored.

kaley-cuoco-sexy

While we prefer our animation chockful of tentacles and Asian maids, an animated Harley Quinn series is something we could get excited about, especially one voiced by Kaley Cuoco (“Big Bang Theory”) for DC Universe.

Unfortunately, this Harley Quinn is more PG-13 than full blown adult—just a brat that curses and wacks peeps in the nuts. “Stripperella” this is not. But, hey, those shorts look painted on!
