Stunner Sharon Hinnendael Embraces Nudity… We Do Too!

Sharon-Hinnendael-Nude-Embrace-Vampire

Pretty blonde up-and-comer Sharon Hinnendael goes nude as the lead in Anchor Bay Entertainment’s remake of the 1994 cult classic Embrace of the Vampire, an erotic supernatural thriller about a college virgin’s sexual awakening at the hands of handsome vampire.

In an interview with Mr. Skin, she says:

I think in any movie, any dramatic movie, or even any comedy, nudity should be in it. I mean come on, we get naked day to day. You get naked, I get naked. We shower every morning then we walk around naked and we have sex with people.

That’s kind of just being a human. So I don’t know why getting naked is a big deal when it’s essential. That’s part of your day-to-day life. People want to buy a character; they’re going to naked.

I, for one, plan to be naked when I watch this thing.

Hinnendael nudefully plays Charlotte Wells, the chaste young woman seduced in dreams by a vampire promising her a life of emotional and sexual fulfillment.

Hinnendael, no stranger to nudity, is best known for her role as teen party girl Hannah on the short-lived Showtime series “Look.” The Wisconsin-born starlet also stars in the horror-indies Machine Head and Rites of Passage, the fun must-see directorial debut from Point Break writer Peter Iliff.

Clatto Reviews: Rob Zombie Live at Great American Nightmare!

zombie

Rob Zombie’s inaugural haunt and concert event, The Great American Nightmare, came to a record-breaking close last week with two Halloween shows headlined by Rob Zombie. Held at the Pomona Fairplex in Los Angeles, the concerts featured a mix of Zombie’s greatest hits, new jams, and covers.

I, along with my cousin Adi Muertos, joined the scum of the earth for the Nov. 1 show. The auditorium was pack in tight with all kinds of devil’s rejects and living dead girls. The lights went out and all that could be seen was a flicker of rainbow lights coming from guitarist John 5’s mouthpiece.

Bassist Piggy D crept on stage as drummer Ginger Fish got to work on the skins. “Meet the Creeper” opened the show. Rob Zombie rushed the mic, belting out what would be the first song of an awesome two-hour set. Mosh pits erupted as the one-two, cranium-rattling punch of ‘I, Zombie” and “Super-Charger Heaven” followed.

As Zombie danced and spun across the stage like a Manson Family hippie at a bonfire, jumbotron screens flashed a montage of titillating grind-house movie clips, Hentai images, and eye-popping retro-erotica starring busty and topless babes of yore.

Zombie thanked the audience for making The Great American Nightmare a success, and apologized for the lack of pyrotechnics on stage, noting that fire marshals had put the kibosh on the effects after receiving complaints from a concerned, elderly attendee (dammit, Mom!).

Up until then, I had not noticed the absence of fire. The show was explosive as is. The band was tight and fun to watch, and Zombie once again the consummate frontman. Songs performed included the booty-shaking anthem “Living Dead Girl,” “More Human Than Human,” “Superbeast,” “Dragula,” a hypnotic “Lords of Salem,” the grin-inducing “Pussy Liquor, new anthem “Dead City Radio,” “Thunder Kiss 65,” and covers of Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re an American Band,” and Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out.”

Dead or Alive… We’re Going with the New ‘Robocop’ Trailer!

robocop-poster

MGM and Sony Pictures have released a new two-minute-plus trailer for Jose Padilha’s remake of Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 sci-fi classic Robocop, about a veteran police officer murdered by criminals and brought back to life as a cyborg crime fighter by the OmniCorp corporation.

The reboot stars Joel Kinnaman as Robocop Alex Murphy, Abbie Cornish as his busty wife, Gary Oldman as his creator, Sam Jackson as a media mogul and Michael Keaton as OmniCorp’s CEO. The film opens Feb. 7.

Gotta say, the new trailer is far more interesting than the first. I love watching the ED-209 patrolling internationally. And, while I’m still bummed that Murphy doesn’t meet his end at the hands of brutal street thugs, I’m digging the training.

Super-Beasto-Haunt-500x333

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare has come to a record-breaking end. The inaugural Halloween haunt and concert event drew the largest single night attendance for a stand-alone haunted house event in the United States.

From the press release:

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare closed out its 15-day run November 2 at the FEARPlex in Pomona, California with a record-breaking night for a stand-alone haunted house event in the United States.

On Saturday night, over 8,500 people traversed the haunted house attractions at this ultimate Halloween music and horror event. The evening culminated with a headlining performance by Rob Zombie.

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare included mazes based on three of Zombie’s horror films: Lords Of Salem Total Black Out, The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto 3D and Haunt Of 1,000 Corpses. Clatto’s review of the event can be read here.

Producer Steve Kopelman said the final weekend of Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare had pulled the largest crowds he has ever witnessed in his 32-year career. “We are extremely proud of the event we built and the partnership with Rob Zombie,” he said, “and look forward to 2014.”

Kyra Zagorsky-Helix

Syfy has released a full length trailer for producer Ronald D. Moore’s (“Battlestar Galactica”) new series “Helix.” Set to premiere Jan. 10, the show stars Billy Campbell (“The Killing”), Kyra Zagorsky (ABC’s of Death), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), and Jordan Hayes (House at the End of the Street).

A team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that may hold the key to mankind’s salvation or total annihilation.

However, the lethal threat is just the tip of the iceberg, and as the virus evolves, the chilling truth begins to unravel.

If the “chilling truth” proves to be some kind of Sharktopus or Megapython, I’m gonna be pretty damn pissed.
