Sci-fi geeks have a new queen in Zoe Saldana. The sultry Dominican starred in this summer’s blockbuster hit Star Trek as Lieutenant Nyota Uhura and is front and center as blue babe Neytiri in James Cameron’s upcoming 3-D actioner Avatar.

In an interview with Details Magazine, Saldana says:

I’ve become a little action whore. I’ve always gravitated toward the Sigourney Weavers, the fucking Linda Hamiltons, the Angelina Jolies. I just love strong women that are in tune with their bodies—that don’t just use their bodies as sex tools. I’m very dominant—feisty. I’m not a man-hater, just a very proud woman.

I love it when hot chicks refer to themselves as whores.

Saldana is expected to return to the Enterprise for J.J. Abram’s Star Trek sequel, tentatively slated for a 2011 release.
