Fresh on the heels of costarring with Demi Moore in the Oscar nominated horror film The Substance, Margaret Qualley takes center stage in A24’s Victorian Psycho, based on Virginia Feito’s novel of the same name.

Set in 1858 England, Victorian Psycho stars Qualley as a hot governess tasked with looking after the spoiled kids of a well-to-do married couple while tolerating pervy stares from the man-of-the-house and abuse from his jealous wife.

Qualley, whose powerful full-frontal performance in The Substance earned her a spot on Clatto’s Best Nude Acting In Horror 2024, despite being snubbed by Oscar, is already getting used to the sexy attire her new movie demands.

Qualley tells IndieWire:

I’ve been wearing a corset around the house to get comfortable with that. It’s actually not as bad as you think if it fits well, and it’s kind of fun. I’m just trying to get used to moving a little bit differently.

If Victorian Psycho only showed that for 90 minutes, it would be an instant classic.

Qualley, daughter to Andie MacDowell, is best known for starring in HBO’s rapture drama “The Leftovers,” Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, and The Substance.
