Portuguese stunner Daniela Melchior stars alongside “Westworld” cougar Thandiwe Newton, “White Lotus” OG Steve Zahn, and funnymen Paul Rudd and Jack Black in Columbia Pictures’ comedic reimagining of the hit 1997 creature-feature Anaconda.

The remake follows a group of friends out to shoot a movie in the rainforest where they battle the elements, including an enormous anaconda. The film is directed by Tom Gormican (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent) and is slated for release on Christmas Day.

Melchior made her American feature film debut as Ratcatcher 2 in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. She has since gone on to star in Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Louis Leterrier’s Fast X, and Doug Liman’s awesome Road House remake.
