Great Jupiter’s cock!
We are only weeks away from the premiere of the Starz network’s new “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” six-part prequel series “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.” Premiering Jan. 21, the Sam Raimi-produced swords-and-sandals, sexed-up soap will follow Batiatus (John Hannah) and his wife Lucretia (Lucy Lawless) as they strive for power and influence over the city of Capua.
Lucy Lawless, Lesley Ann Brandt, and newcomer Jaime Murray (“Dexter”) discuss their scandalous new show in the following promo clip:
“Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” costars Dustin Clare as the gladiator Gannicus, Jeffrey Thomas as Batiatus’ father Titus, Stephen Lovatt as Tullius, Jessica Grace Smith as slave Diona and Marisa Ramirez as slave Melitta.
Reprising their “Spartacus; Blood and Sand” roles are Peter Mensah (Oenomaus), Nick E. Tarabay (Ashur), Antonio Te Maioha (Barca), Craig Walsh Washington (Solonius) and Manu Bennett (Crixus).
“Spartacus: Blood and Sand” debuted last January to over a million viewers, making it the Starz network’s most watched program. A second season is slated to air later this fall, however it will sadly not include Andy Whitfield in the titular role due to his ongoing bout with Stage 1 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
