“7th Heaven” alumna Rachel Blanchard is set to join Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck in celebrated Fatal Attraction, Indecent Exposure, and Unfaithful director Adrian Lyne’s new erotic thriller Deep Water, based on renowned novelist Patricia Highsmith’s book of the same name.

Deep Water tells the story of a beautiful wife (de Armas) in a loveless marriage who’s made a a willing cuckold out of her husband (Affleck) to keep their wedded facade going. When he grows resentful and bodies of her former lovers start popping up, she soon must find a way out before death do they part.

Blanchard plays the wife of a cheating man who gets involved with de Armas. Horror fans may recognize Blanchard from her work on the Canadian TV series “War of the Worlds” and Nickelodeon’s “Are You Afraid of the Dark” and the films Snakes On a Plane and The Rage: Carrie 2.
