Universal has released the first full-length trailer for Jurassic World, the eagerly anticipated third sequel in producer Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park franchise. Set 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, the film finds the Jurassic World amusement park fully functional and open to the public on Isla Nublar.
The trailer was set to premiere on Thanksgiving Day, but was released early when Disney announced its trailer debut for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII for Friday (oh, yeah, baby). Regardless, Jurassic World promises a fun ride. The effects don’t seem fully rendered, but the stage is set and it is epic.
Directed and co-written by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) and starring Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3), Jurassic World opens June 12, 2015.
