Rob Zombie has once again got his eye on Halloween. But, don’t go TPing the man’s house just yet. He’s not doing another movie sequel (though a Halloween III: Season of the Witch remake would be interesting). This time out, Zombie is unleashing a horrific haunted attraction on the people of Los Angeles.
Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare will feature bloodcurdling mazes based on three of Zombie’s horror films: Lords Of Salem Total Black Out, The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto 3D and Haunt Of 1,000 Corpses.
Zombie says:
This is it! The ultimate badass Halloween experience! No one will walk away disappointed. I am thrilled to bring The Great American Nightmare to California and begin a reign of bloody terror!
Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare will take place every Thursday-Sunday from Oct. 10-Nov. 2 at the Fairplex in Pomona, and is not intended for young children or those faint of heart. But, those too chicken to enter a maze can enjoy outdoor screenings of classic horror films, food and booze and the funky beats of a DJ.
The haunt will also feature 15 nights of musical performances. Artists include Andrew WK, BL3ND, Blood On The Dance Floor, Dirtyloud, Dirtyphonics, Doctor P, Emilie Autumn, Evol Intent, Fei-Fei, Goldfinger, Heavygrinder, Kottonmouth Kings, Metalachi, One More Time, Ozomatli, Reel Big Fish, Terravita, The Used, Twiztid, William Control and Zomboy.
