Playboy Playmate and “Baywatch” star Donna D’ Errico is on a quest to find Noah’s Ark. No, that’s not the plot to a Cinemax After Dark original or a new reality show on TLC. D’Errico is seriously looking to embark on an expedition to locate the holy vessel.

D’Errico, now 45 and still hot, believes Noah’s Ark can be found somewhere on Mount Ararat in Turkey. She’s launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise $10,000 by July 25 to fund the documentary she aims to shoot during her search, titled The Secret of Ağrı Dağı.

D’Errico writes on Kickstarter:

The Bible says that after the flood, Noah’s Ark landed on the mountains of Ararat. Throughout the years, there have been a handful of explorers who claimed to have seen the Ark on modern-day Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey.

Some have been frauds, but many have been highly respected individuals whose eyewitness accounts are considered legitimate. The legitimate discoveries have powerful stories, many of which will be covered in the documentary.

To get to the area where we believe the ark is located, we will have to climb using ropes, traverse cliffs, circumvent rock slides, avoid mountain rebels, survive blinding blizzards, and fend off vicious sheepdogs. They are mangy, always kept just this side of starving, and will quite literally rip you to shreds.

D’Errico was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in September 1995 and starred on the hit syndicated series “Baywatch” and its spin-off “Baywatch Nights.” Her only horror creds include the 1999 home video sequel Candyman 3: Day of the Dead and the short-lived 2006 VH1 reality series “Celebrity Paranormal Project.”
