Producer Roger Corman confirmed at last week’s Comic-Con that there will be naked giant boobs—presented in 3D—in his new genre offering Attack of the 50-Foot Cheerleader, an EPIX original movie directed by visual effects guru Kevin O’Neill that is set to premiere Aug. 25.

Corman said:

Our big climax is that two 50-foot cheerleaders battle it out on the football field on homecoming day. Epix wanted it filmed two ways.  One way is that inadvertently their tops come off during the fight.  And then I wanted another version in which the tops stay on.

Attack of the 50-Foot Cheerleader stars TV actress Jena Sims as an awkward college coed who turns to an experimental drug in the hopes of becoming popular and beautiful. Things go bad, however, when side effects kick in and she suddenly grows into a 50-foot giant.

Total Recall’s Kaitlyn Leeb isn’t waiting around for Columbia Pictures to start showing her character some love. The beautiful Chinese and Irish up-and-comer dropped by Comic-Con last week to remind folks why Len Wiseman’s remake of Paul Verhoeven’s original is worth the price of admission.

Dressed up as Mary, the infamous three-breasted hooker she plays in the film, Leeb’s outfit consisted of a plastic trench coat, black PVC thigh-high boots and a slinky, red kimono cut in a way so to reveal three eye-popping prosthetic boobs.

Horror fans may recognize Leeb from her doomed, naked-lesbian turn in the crazy-fun 2011 slasher Wrong Turn 4.

Total Recall stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston, Ethan Hawke, Bill Nighy, John Cho and Jessica Biel. The film opens Aug. 3.

Jessica Biel is set to star in 20th Century Fox’s The Wolverine, a sequel to the steaming pile of dog poop that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine. According to Deadline, the 30-year-old stunner will play the villainess Viper—also known as Madame Hydra.

Biel joins a cast that includes Hal Yamanouchi (Push) as Yashida, Tao Okamoto as one-time Wolverine fiancee Mariko, Rila Fukushima as assassin Yukio, Hiroyuki Sanada (“LOST”) as Wolverine foe the  Silver Samurai and Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine.

The Wolverine shoots in Australia and Japan. James Mangold (Knight and Day, 3:10 to Yuma) is directing.

Biel made her genre debut in the 2003 Platinum Dunes remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. She will next be seen in French director Pascal Laugier’s (Martyrs) English language feature debut The Tall Man and Len Wiseman’s (Underworld) upcoming Total Recall reboot.

AMC has set an Oct. 14 premiere date for season three of its eagerly anticipated series “The Walking Dead.” A four-minute trailer for the show was debuted at Comic-Con this week, revealing Danai Gurira as zombie slayer Michonne, David Morrissey as The Governor, the survivalist town of Woodbury and the return of Michael Rooker as Merle Dixon.

Open Road premiered at Comic-Con footage of its upcoming Silent Hill: Revelation, the long-awaited Silent Hill sequel from producers Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody (Resident Evil: Afterlife). The clip features Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) being rescued from the film’s hot demon nurses by Adelaide Clemens (Vampire).

Silent Hill: Revelation 3-D is directed by Michael J. Basset (Solomon Kane) and costars Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Malcolm McDowell (Silent Night, Deadly Night), Martin Donovan (The Haunting in Connecticut) and original Silent Hill stars Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger and Sean Bean. Release is slated for Oct. 26.

“Dr. Who” starlet Karen Gillan is the first actor cast in Film District and Intrepid Pictures’ new supernatural thriller Oculus. The film is directed by Mike Flanagan (Absentia), from a script by Flanagan and Jeff Howard, and is slated to go into production in the Fall.

Oculus follows a twenty-something brother and sister (Gillan) duo orphaned as children after the mysterious murder of their parents, of which the brother is charged with by authorities. His sister, however, continues to believe that a haunted antique mirror is truly responsible for their deaths.

Gillan is best known for her role as Amy Pond on Britain’s long-running sci-fi series “Dr. Who.” The Scottish actress and former model can also be seen in Vertigo Films’ creature-feature Outcast.

“Community” star Gillian Jacobs is set to star in New Artists Alliance’s upcoming horror-comedy Milo. The 30-year-old stunner joins a cast that includes Ken Marino (“Childrens Hospital”), Peter Stormare (Undocumented) and Judy Greer (Carrie).

The movie tells the tale of a stress-stricken man named Duncan (Marino) who discovers that he has an anxiety-driven demon living inside his intestines. At his therapist’s (Stormare) urging, Duncan releases his demon, names it Milo and attempts to regain control of his life. Jacobs plays Duncan’s stress-inducing wife.

THR.com broke the story and reports that editor Jacob Vaughan (Black Rock, Jeff, Who Lives at Home) will make his directorial debut with the project, which is executive produced by indie-heroes Jay and Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed). Production is slated to begin this month in Los Angeles.

Jacobs, best known for her role as Britta Perry on NBC’s “Community,” is coming off the apocalyptic comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Notable creds include The Box, Gardens of the Night and the Chuck Palahniuk adaptation Choke, in which she goes topless (you’re welcome).

Inception Media Group has set an Aug. 21 DVD release date for director Stig Svendsen new psychological thrill ride Elevator, starring Icelandic starlet Anita Briem (pictured), sexy Brit Tehmina Sunny (Children of Men) and that curly-haired guy from “Nip/Tuck” and “The Single Guy.”

The synopsis reads:

Nine strangers are stuck in an elevator on the 49th floor of an upscale Manhattan high-rise… and one of them has a ticking bomb! But who… and why?

The rising star TV news reporter … building security guard … or soon-to-retire millionaire CEO with his granddaughter? The bond trader … struggling comedian … pregnant office worker and her successful boyfriend …or the elderly widow?

Briem is coming off the 2011 horror-comedy Dylan Dog: Dead of Night. She is best known, however, for her performance in the Brendan Fraser 2008 blockbuster Journey to the Center of the Earth. The 30-year-old stunner was also a recurring on Showtime’s historical drama “The Tudors.”

LD Entertainment has set a Nov. 30 release date for Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton’s The Collection, the eagerly awaited sequel to their 2009 cult hit The Collector. The film stars newcomer Emma Fitzpatrick (pictures) and Josh Stewart, reprising his role as ex-con-turned-reluctant-hero Arkin.

The film’s synopsis reads:

When Elena’s (Fitzpatrick) friends take her to a secret party at an undisclosed location, she never imagined she would become the latest victim of The Collector, a psychopathic killer. The Collector kidnaps and transports her to an abandoned hotel he’s transformed into his own private maze of torture and death.

Upon learning of his daughter’s disappearance, Elena’s wealthy father hires a group of mercenaries to retrieve her from the vicious grips of The Collector. These mercenaries coerce Arkin (Stewart), the only man to have escaped the wrath of this heinous monster, to lead them through the gruesome labyrinth.

Now, Arkin finds himself fighting for his own life in order to save Elena.

The Collection costars Lee Tergesen, Christopher McDonald, Johnny Yong Bosch, Shannon Kane, Tim Griffin, William Peltz, Eaddy Mays, Michael Nardelli, Justin Mortelliti, Michael H. Cole, Arloa Reston and Courtney Lauren Cumming.

Disney has released the first teaser-trailer for Sam Raimi’s eagerly anticipated Wizard of Oz prequel Oz, the Great and Powerful. The film stars James Franco as the Wizard and Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams as the witches.

Oz, the Great and Powerful tells the tale of how a lost snake oil salesman and illusionist (Franco) defeats evil witches Theodora (Kunis) and Evanora (Weisz) with the help of their sister Gilda (Williams) to rule the land of Oz.
