Twin sisters Elise and Electra Avellan will reprise their roles as Uzi-toting nurses Mona and Lisa in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills, a sequel to the director’s 2010 grind-house actioner Machete. The film, currently shooting in Austin, finds Machete hired by the U.S. to shut down an arms dealer set on global destruction.

The twins join a cast that includes Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana, Amber Heard, Demian Bechir, Edward James Olmos and returning players Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and Danny Trejo as Machete.

The Avellan sisters made their Hollywood acting debut as the “Crazy Twin Babysitters” in the 2007 Rodriguez/ Quentin Tarantino collaboration Grindhouse. In 2010, they starred in Parallel Media’s deserted island thriller The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond.
