Image Entertainment has released an international trailer for acclaimed French director Pascal Laugier’s The Tall Man. Shot in British Columbia, Canada, the film is Laugier’s first since his much ballyhooed Martyrs torture-drama, and marks his English language movie debut.

The Tall Man stars Jessica Biel (Total Recall) as a crazy-hot MILF attempting to find her missing son in the small mining town of Cold Rock, Washington where children are said to be abducted by a mysterious man of intimidating height (because short men only steal gold).

The film arrives in selected theaters on Aug. 31 before hitting DVD shelves on Sept. 25.
