Sonya-Walger-Factory

Sonya Walger (“LOST”) and Jennifer Carpenter (“Dexter”) star opposite John Cusack (The Raven) in the Morgan O’Neill-directed serial killer drama The Factory. The Warner Bros. film started its limited theatrical run today.

The film’s synopsis reads:

Detective Mike Fletcher (Cusack), a rugged and obsessive police officer, and his partner, Kelsey Walker (Carpenter), are on the trial of a serial killer who prowls the streets targeting young streetwalkers.

When his teenage daughter disappears, Fletcher discovers that the killer has kidnapped her after mistaking her for a prostitute. Fletcher’s obsession goes into overdrive when he drops all professional restraint to get the killer and save his daughter.

So his teenage daughter is mistaken for a prostitute? How skanky is that ho dressing? I dunno. If your daughter is dressing up like a hooker every night, maybe it ain’t so bad that she get taken by a serial killer. A funeral is probably cheaper than raising her bastard kid for 18-years.

The Factory costars Mae Whitman (“Arrested Development”), Michael Trevino (“The Vampire Diaries”), Katherine Waterson (The Stare), Cas Anvar (Source Code), Dallas Roberts (The Grey) and stunners Ksenia Solo (Black Swan) and Cindy Sampson (“The Supernatural”).
