Andrea Duró is starring in Spanish Movie director Javier Ruiz Caldera’s new horror-comedy Promocion Fantasma (gringo translation: Ghost Graduation). The 20-year-old española plays Marivi, one of five restless spirits looking to graduate from high school with the help of a paranormal-friendly professor named Modesto (Raúl Arévalo).
Peep it:
Promocion Fantasma is produced by the folks behind Alejandro Amenabar’s Agora and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s Biutiful and is Caldera’s followup to his 2009 sleeper hit Spanish Movie, a spoof on Spanish horror films that starred the late and great Leslie Nielsen.
Duró, who also stars in Cuban filmmaker Alejandro Brugués’ satirical zombie frightener Juan de los Muertos, is joined here by Jaime Olías, Alex Maruny, Javier Bódalo, Joaquín Reyes, Carlos Areces, and Spanish babes Alexandra Jiménez, Anna Castillo, and Aura Garrido.
Promocion Fantasma opens in Spain on March 2, 2012.
