“In Plain Sight” starlet Rachel Boston is the latest addition to writer, director, and actor Todd Berger’s upcoming horror-comedy It’s a Disaster. The 29-year-old  joins a cast that includes Berger, America Ferrera (“Ugly Betty”), Julia Stiles (“Dexter”), Kevin M. Brennan (The Lake House), Jeff Grace (Scenesters), Blaise Miller (Scenesters) and Laura Adkin.

The film follows four couples who, while meeting for a Sunday brunch during holiday, discover that the end of the world is upon them. Boston, best known for her recurring role as detective Abigail Chaffee on the USA network’s “In Plain Sight” and as Beth Mason on NBC’s  2002 dramedy “American Dreams,”  will play a wily wild-child named Lexi Kivel.

It’s a Disaster starts filming next month in Los Angeles.
