loved2

Australian actors Xavier Samuel (Twilight Saga: Eclipse) and newcomer Robin McLeavy headline writer/director Sean Byrne’s award-winning TIFF darling The Loved Ones.

Described as Pretty in Pink meets Wolf Creek, the indie-thriller follows an emotionally unstable wallflower named Lola (McLeavy) as she abducts and holds captive the boy (Samuel) that rejected her advances and invitation to attend the “End of the Year” dance.

Peep the trailer:

While the film looks gleefully gruesome and funny, I’m not sure horror geeks will feel much sympathy for a guy who is kidnapped by a very cute chick who only really wants to bang him.

I mean most of us you ended up going to school dances with our your fat sisters, who didn’t even put out after making us you dance to “You Spin Me Round” all night.

The Loved Ones costars Victoria Thaine, Jessica McNamee, Richard Wilson, and John Brumpton. The film has yet to acquire distribution in the States, but will be released later this year in Australia.

Kelly Brook is a Slave (Leia) for You!

kelly-brook-princess-leia

Young Padawans, prepare to choke the wookie.

British model/actress Kelly Brook has donned Princess Leia’s iconic and insanely hot Return of the Jedi slave-girl bikini for the U.K.’s Total Film magazine’s June 2010 issue. While the bikini is not an exact replica, it does compliment Brook’s curvy body and gives us a nice peek at her moons of Endor (and is that Bantha-toe?).

And there’s video …

This is not the first time Brook has modeled herself after a character in the Lucasfilms’ universe. The 30-year-old stunner strapped on Indiana Jones whip for SkyMovies in November.

Brook has also been featured in Ultimo’s latest lingerie campaign and goes nude in the July issue of Loaded magazine. On Aug. 20th, she will star in Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3-D remake.

Other models that have used the force recently include Adrianne Curry and 2007 Playboy Playmate of the Year Sarah Jean Underwood, who partook in the sexiest Slave Leia car wash ever for the Make a Wish Foundation.

Twentieth Century Fox has released the first official trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s eagerly anticipated revenge-thriller Machete. The clip showcases the film’s impressive all-star cast, including femme fatales Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Rose McGowan, and twin sisters Elise and Electra Avellan.

Take a look:

The film also stars Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson, Jeff Fahey, Lindsay Lohan, and Hollywood’s hardest working Mexi-can Danny Trejo as the titular bad-ass.

Machete is a double-crossed assassin out to kill the honkies that set him up and left him for dead. The film is based on the faux-trailer featured in the 2007 Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino collaboration Grindhouse.

sofia-vergara-blue

The nominations for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning by Colombian bombshell and “Modern Family” star Sophia Vergara and the guy from E! Television’s “The Soup.” I know I’m late with this story, but I got distracted while trying to find the perfect Sophia Vergara photo to accompany the post.

Anyway …

ABC’s “LOST” picked up nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series (Jack Bender, “The End”), Outstanding Art Direction (“Ab Aeterno”), Outstanding Music Composition (“The End”), Outstanding Picture Editing (“The End”), Outstanding Sound Editing/Mixing (“The End”) and Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series (Damon Lindelof/ Carlton Cuse, “The End”).

LOST_vanityfair

Series star Matthew Fox finally scored a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his tormented portrayal of island savior Jack Shepard. Castmates Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson received their third nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Both actors have previously won the category (O’Quinn in ’07, Emerson in ’09) for their emotionally-charged work as John Locke and Benjamin Linus, respectively.

Josh Holloway, who won a Best Actor honor at this year’s Saturn Awards, was once again snubbed for his heartbreaking turn as conman James “Sawyer” Ford. Elizabeth Mitchell, who played Sawyer’s love interest Juliet Burke, did, however, manage to land a long-deserved nom for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

E17TVa

Showtime’s “Dexter” also fared well this morning, earning nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series (Steve Shill, “The Getaway”), Outstanding Picture Editing (“The Getaway”), Outstanding Sound Mixing (“Hello, Dexter Morgan”), and Outstanding Casting.

Three-time Emmy nominee Michael C. Hall saw a fourth nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of serial-killer-turned-family-man Dexter Morgan. Hall won a Golden Globe for the role earlier this year. John Lithgow, who played Dexter’s terrifying nemesis The Trinity Killer, also earned himself a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

Bill_Sookie

The Emmy’s recognition of HBO’s vampire-drama “True Blood” was arguably the morning’s biggest shocker, earning nods for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Art Direction (“Never Let Me Go”), Outstanding Sound Editing (“Beyond Here Lies Nothin'”), Outstanding Casting, and Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup in a Drama Series (“Scratches”).

Sadly, the entire “True Blood” cast was overlooked including supporting players Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds) and Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton), who in my opinion, blow away all of those overrated “Mad Men” players.

FlashForward

ABC’s recently canceled sci-fi drama “FlashForward” garnered noms for Outstanding Cinematography (“No More Good Days”), Outstanding Music Composition (“No More Good Days”), and Outstanding Stunt Coordination (“No More Good Days”).

Elsewhere, the category for Outstanding Visual Effects for a Series was dominated by sci-fi shows. Among the nominees are the Syfy network’s “Caprica” and “Stargate Universe” and ABC’s “V.” NBC’s “Heroes” nabbed a nom for Outstanding Art Direction (“Brave New World”), while Fox’s shitty “X-Files” wannabe turd “Fringe” picked one up for Outstanding Sound Editing (“White Tulip”).

To see a complete list of nominees, visit the Emmy’s website.

The 62nd Emmy Awards Show will air live coast-to-coast on Aug. 29 on NBC. Failed-actor-turned-talk-show-host Jimmy Fallon will emcee the event from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Characters James “Sawyer” Ford and Dexter Morgan made Clatto’s list of 12 Heroes in Horror/Sci-fi That Won’t Make You Feel Like an Asshole!

VH1’s ‘Scream Queens 2’ is a Reality Show for Your Cock!

ScreamQueens4

VH1 has released an action-packed, shriek-heavy trailer for its upcoming reality show “Scream Queens 2.” Hosted by actress Jaime King (My Bloody Valentine 3-D), acting coach John Homa, and genre director Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams), the show will once again pit 10 sexy wannabe starlets against each other in horror-inspired challenges for a chance to win a speaking role in Saw 7.

Check it out:

“Scream Queens” debuted in October of 2008 and was originally hosted by Homa, director James Gunn (Slither), and Saw’s Shawnee Smith. Acting novice Tanedra Howard dominated the season and went on to win a memorably gruesome part in last year’s criminally overlooked Saw 6.

“Scream Queens 2” premieres on VH1 on August 2 at 10 p.m.

Anna Faris Nude Photos Leaked Online? Get the Skinny Now!

af

What are thought to be nude photos of actress Anna Feris on the set of her new rom-com What’s Your Number? have been circulating the web faster than your sister’s upskirt pics. Reps for the Scary Movie star say that the naked girl in the shots is not Faris, but her body double.

I believe the reps because Feris, who has never done a nude scene on camera and has seen her career skyrocket after 2008’s The House Bunny, won’t need to show her pink sink until the only call on her agent’s machine is from Dimension Films looking to cast Scary Movie 20.

af2

So, until then, let’s just roll with the fantasy and pretend Faris is a dirty little slut who would totally bang you if you were an extra on the set … an extra with a big cock and lots of cocaine.

Disney held the world premiere for Jerry Bruckheimer’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice yesterday at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City. Joining producers Jerry and Linda Bruckheimer on the red carpet were director JonTurteltaub and stars Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Teresa Palmer, and Alfred Molina.

To my penis’ discontent, Monica Bellucci, who plays Sorceress Veronica in the film, was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Bellucci, dude?"

"Where's Bellucci, dude?"

Other celebs spotted at the event included veteran actress Helen Mirren, new Twilight Saga star Xavier Samuel, New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, Laura Michelle Kelly, “Top Chef Masters” host Kelly Choi, and a guy in a Mickey Mouse costume who was probably there to get close to Sorcerer’s 12-year-old actors Peyton List and Robert Capron.

Hub Productions held a huge “Vampire Diaries” convention on Sunday, July 4th in Melbourne, Australia. The event hosted raffles, auctions, and plenty of vendors selling highly coveted show-inspired merch.

For the thousand of fans in attendance, however, the day’s big score came in the form of a meet-&-greet with the series stars Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and that other guy who isn’t Ian Somerhalder, all of whom skipped out on celebrating the good ole’ U.S. of fucking A to be with their diehard fans from down under.

Along with signing autographs and posing for pictures, the actors shared anecdotes about the show, playfully ribbed each other, and even hinted at upcoming plot developments.

“The Vampire Diaries” is writer-producer Kevin Williamson’s (Scream, “Dawson’s Creek”) adaptation of L.J. Smith’s popular novel series of the same name for the CW television network. The show follows high-schooler Elena Gilbert (Dobrev) as she’s courted by two vampire brothers (Somerhalder & that other guy).

The show won a People’s Choice award for Favorite New TV Drama earlier this year.

Milfy Virginia Madsen to Play Amanda Seyfried’s Mom in ‘Red Riding Hood’

Madsen

If you’re a horror/sci-fi fan in your thirties, you’ll recognize actress Virginia Madsen from a number of genre classics including the 1984 big screen adaptation of Dune, Clive Barker’s 1992 frightener Candyman, Dimension’s 1995 rogue-angel thriller The Prophecy, and last year’s supernatural hit A Haunting in Connecticut.

Madsen is now set to star in director Catherine Hardwicke’s (Twilight) upcoming werewolf-thriller Red Riding Hood, a romantic re-imaging of the Brothers Grimm’s classic fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood.” The 48-year-old milf will play mother to Amanda Seyfried’s character.

Red Riding Hood (formerly entitled The Girl with the Red Riding Hood) is written by Orphan scribe David Leslie Johnson and costars Lukas Haas, Shiloh Fernandez, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman.

The film is produced by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way for Warner Bros and is slated for a March 11, 2011 release.

Madsen's bust out role was in 1983's 'Class'

Madsen’s other notable genre creds include Electric Dreams (1984), Highlander II: The Quickening (1991), The Haunting (1999), and The Number 23 (2007). Your penis (if it’s in its 30’s) will also remember her from the 1983 teen-sex comedy Class, in which she made her major motion picture debut.

Madsen currently stars on ABC’s soon-to-be-canceled TV series “Scoundrels.”
