Overture Films really knows how to throw a party. The studio held a top secret screening and after-party for its upcoming viral-outbreak thriller The Crazies last night at the KCET back lot in Los Angeles.

Guests were put through military check points and bused to various “infected” camps, while actors roamed the areas in full costume and makeup without breaking character.

The film’s director (Breck Eisner) and cast was also in attendance, including leads Timothy Olyphant (A Perfect Getaway), Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill), and Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th). All-in-all, the event looked pretty awesome.

Unfortunately, I was not invited could not attend due to my asshole bleaching appointment (they’re impossible to book in LA). But, don’t worry. I have nonetheless compiled a gallery for your viewing pleasure down below (courtesy of Zimbio).
