Actress Julianne Moore is doing press for her upcoming psychological thriller Chloe. The 49-year-old stars as a woman who hires a prostitute to test her husband’s fidelity. Moore shares a graphic lesbian scene in the film with costar Amanda Seyfried, who goes nude for the part (click here for a peek).

In the following clip, Moore discusses her role and the sexually-charged scene and tries really hard to convince us that we’re not supposed to touch ourselves when we see it.

Chloe is directed by Atom Egoyan and penned by Secretary scribe Erin Cressida Wilson. The film also stars Liam Neeson as Moore’s husband.

Intrigued? The following scene sets up the drama. Take a look:

Mila Kunis & Chick from ‘Flashdance’ at ‘Book of Eli’ Premiere!

milak

The Hughes Brothers’ Book of Eli opens in theaters nationwide today. The post-apocalyptic actioner marks the brother’s return to directing since 2001’s Jack-the-Ripper drama From Hell.

The film’s premiere was held earlier this week at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Stars Denzel Washington, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Beals, and Gary Oldman were all on hand at the event. Unfortunately, I could not attend because I was not invited and have a fear of black security guards.

But, don’t feel bad. Let’s just enjoy the following gallery (courtesy of Zimbio):

Hot Canadian Twins Want Your Blood!

twinprod

Vancouver based Twisted Twins Productions (Dead Hooker in a Trunk) is holding a month long blood drive with Canadian Blood Services in February. Billed as a celebration of “Women in Horror” month (yea, I was unaware too), the event is the brainchild of studio heads Jen and Sylvia Soska.

The twins have released the following PSA to encourage their fellow Canucks to donate blood:

Now, that’s how you get people excited about donating blood. I can’t wait to see what they do for bone marrow donations.

Call 1-888-2-DONATE to book your appointment or show your support by joining the drive’s Facebook page.

‘Fright Night’ Remake to Take Bite Out of Sparkly Vampire Trend!

FrightNight

Dreamworks remake of the 1985 horror-comedy Fright Night will sink its teeth into Hollywood’s current romanticized-vampire trend and rip its sparkly throat out … or something like that.

Producer Michael De Luca tells Collider:

We thought it would be interesting if, in this atmosphere of the way the vampire is being portrayed right now as a romantic object, under the wire of all that in the culture the real thing moves in next door. And the real thing is a killer. Just a predator. It’s the shark from Jaws. On the outside it’s a seductive package and it looks like a human being, but it’s just about ripping your throat out and drinking your blood. And introducing that kind of vampire into the current environment.

I think the original is almost 50/50 or even more laughs than scares. And I think we’re going to have appropriate dark humor and sardonic humor and sarcastic humor and erotic humor, but not tongue-in-cheek or cheesy humor but really go for some scares.

“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” producer-writer Marti Noxon is handling writing duties. A director and cast has yet to be attached.

Rob Zombie to Direct ‘CSI: Miami’ Episode

RobZ

Never mind what lurks on Channel X, Rob Zombie (Halloween, Devil’s Rejects) will make his television directorial debut for CBS. The rocker-turned-movie-director is currently shooting an episode of the crime-drama “CSI: Miami.”

According to CBS, Zombie’s episode finds the Miami forensics experts investigating a grisly murder in Los Angeles while fighting off allegations of evidence tampering.

Co-executive producer Marc Dube says:

We thought opening the episode at a macabre party, with Miami attendees all wearing stylized masks (a la Eyes Wide Shut) would be a fun kick-off point for Rob do to what he does best, conveying the cruel and creepy underbelly of humanity.

csimiami

Sounds cool, but David Caruso is a douche bag. I would have preferred to see Zombie take on CBS’s “The Ghost Whisperer,” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. Now, I’m just hoping his episode of “CSI: Miami,” unlike his films, isn’t jam-pack with trailer trash characters (it’s getting old, Rob).

‘Lost’ Season Six Update: Michael & Libby Will Return to the Island

MichaelDawson

“Lost” executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse announced that Harold Perrineau (Michael Dawson) and Cynthia Watros (Libby), will be heading back to the island for the show’s sixth and final season.

Of course, “Lost” fans will recall that Libby was shot and killed by Michael in season 2 and, in turn, Michael met his demise on board Charles Whidmore’s freighter in season four. Whether Watros and Perrineau will reprise their roles as apparitions or in flashbacks was not made clear.

CynthiaW

In fact, the “Lost” panel held Tuesday during the Television Critics Association winter press tour offered very few hints regarding the final season.

Lindelof did, however, warn:

There is certainly a hope that everybody universally loves the ending, but I don’t think it would be ‘Lost’ if there wasn’t an ongoing and active debate. If I could put on my predicting hat, there’s going to be some that think it’s the worst ending in the history of TV, and on the other end, to balance that out, would be my mom.

Asked about the having the “Lost” season six premiere almost preempted by President Obama’s State of the Union address, Lindelof quipped:

I’m a lifelong Democrat, but when I first heard they were considering Feb. 2, I was like, ‘That motherfucker!’

“Lost” season six premieres on Feb. 2.

Bikinis & Blood: Behind-the-Scenes of ‘Piranha 3-D’

piranha3d

Busty actress Kelly Brooke and porn star Riley Steele are just two of the bikini-clad hotties moviegoers will be ogling when they see director Alexandre Aja’s creature-feature Piranha 3-D. A remake of Joe Dante’s 1978 original Piranha, Aja’s film centers on a spring break town terrorized by schools of deadly piranha.

Piranha 3-D’s impressive cast includes Elisabeth Shue, Ving Rhames, Dina Meyer, Jerry O’Connell, the great Christopher Lloyd and Richard Dreyfus, rumored to be reprising the character he played in Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. The film arrives in theaters on April 16 err … it’s been pushed to August (that fucking blows donkey balls).

Of course, the movie also features plenty of flesh from fresh-of-the-bus female talent looking to earn creds towards a SAG card. In their honor, I present the following gallery:

Pumpkinhead Shills for Kellog!

pumpkinhead

Movie monster Pumpkinhead has fallen on hard times. The eponymous star of the Stan Winston 1988 classic creature-feature and its many DVD sequels can be seen pitching Kellog’s Raisin Bran Crunch cereal on British TV. Though he’s taken on the alias Miles Melman, there’s no mistaking good old Pumpkie.
